My journey in health and fitness began as a personal mission and evolved into a professional calling. Growing up as a multi-sport athlete, I discovered my passion for movement and performance early on. However, it was the loss of my father to a heart attack—directly linked to lifestyle factors—that transformed this passion into purpose. That pivotal moment sparked my unwavering commitment to healthy living and my dedication to helping others achieve the same.
I earned my B.S.in Exercise Science from Tennessee State University, where I balanced my role as a student-athlete with hands-on learning through an internship at D1 Sports Training and Therapy in Chattanooga, TN. This experience provided invaluable exposure to real-world application of exercise science principles and ignited my entrepreneurial spirit as I gained experience as a fitness franchise owner and performance coach.

For over a decade, I served as a fitness professional at Life Time, where I developed and delivered comprehensive personal training programs, group sessions, nutrition coaching and online coaching solutions. During this time, I pursued advanced certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), earning credentials as a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist.

My expertise extends to athletic performance, having provided specialized sports training and injury prevention for athletes across various sports, including professional soccer players with Memphis 901FC. I further expanded my training capabilities through specialized education in golf-specific training under Coach Joey Diovisalvi; and advanced training protocols with Steve Hess from the Denver Nuggets. These experiences deepened my understanding of how to optimize human performance at the highest levels.

Recognizing the broader areas of health and wellness, I earned a M.S. in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the University of Memphis. This advanced education expanded my perspective beyond individual fitness to encompass population health initiatives and community wellness strategies. I've collaborated with diverse organizations to promote healthy workplace cultures and strengthen community health initiatives.

My multidisciplinary background combines personal experience, scientific education, and professional expertise to deliver evidence-based strategies. Whether working with athletes, communities, or individuals looking to improve their overall health and fitness, I tailor my approach to meet each person's unique needs and goals.

Every client interaction is guided by the same commitment that began with my father's passing—helping others build sustainable, healthy lifestyles that enhance both longevity and quality of life.
